On the Mall

I'm currently in DC, which just may be one of the best "people watching" places in the world. Everyone should come here, regardless of their nationality. A city of museums, motorcades, monuments - it all happens here.
I'm sure Freud would have a field day with this one.
Everybody likes Abe, but back in the day he wasn't exactly Mr Popular. I think history will also be very kind to Obama.
Grand buildings and beautiful light.
Very exciting to be here when Martin Luther King's Memorial was dedicated. The city is full of old freedom fighters who lived to see the day.

There is something bittersweet about the beautiful, golden light of fall.
